International workers memorial day 2023

The commemoration event and wreath laying will be followed by an event at The Raquets Club, Chapel Street L3.

Every year more people are killed at work than in wars. Most don’t die of mystery ailments or tragic “accidents”. They die because an employer decided their employees’ safety just wasn’t that important a priority. International Workers’ Memorial Day(IWMD) commemorates these workers.

The 2023 THEME is:

“Organising Workers around Health & Safety”
